Solwise ASUS 6000EV update help sought...

  1. Ok, I seem to be being a more than averagely thick git this morning.

Just downloaded an updated version of the s/w for this router, and the
installer program and followed the instructions... However, nothing
    happens - I do this:

1.Set up the modem and pc ip address in the same subnet (already the
    case).
    2.power on the modem.
3.After the modem show the main menu execute the upgrade utility.
    4.The username is "adsl",password is "adsl1234"
5.Click button "open" to choose the "71205a32.hex"
    6.Click button "upgrade"
    7.Select "Modem image" and "Configuration"
8.Then click button "Ok" to start upgrade firmware.

This is where it all goes wrong... I get a message saying:

    "TFTP Error: Code = 2
Message: Failed to unlock server using password"

I have tried using the default password shown above (which doesn't allow
anything to happen as far as I can see - even the maintenance can't be
accessed using that) and using the admin name and password that I use to
    configure the router.

Any clues? This is driving me barmy...
