    Wotcha.
    There's a good chance I have.
I ain't sure of what I've got exactly, all I've done is stack the stuff and
throw away what is obviously junk.
I seem to recall seeing at least two master cylinders.
Got a few boxes of gears and the like.

    Whereabouts do you live ?
You're more than welcome to come and have a nose at what I've got.

My wife reckons the whole MZ falls into the "obviously junk" category.
It's the only bike I've had that she hasn't ever jumped on the back of.

Actually, that's not true, she never got a ride on the Gixxer that
preceded the MZ - but that was a horrible POS which is why I sold it &
    bought the ETZ.
I'm up in Scotland so nipping over to have a nosey isn't likely to
    happen :)

I'm in no great hurry to sort the MZ[1], so if you happen upon a front
wheel or brake gimme a yell and we'll see what we can sort out.

[1] it's nominally summer, herself is between jobs and the Laverda runs
so the MZ isn't exactly high priority.

Problem solved, used a 2" section of old mountain bike inner tube
(for 1.75-2.1" tyres) as a sleeve. It was an absolute bugger to fit,
but does the job perfectly, for the time being. It's such a tight
fit, it doesn't even need any glue.

    'Scuse the mobile pics...

It's a bit of a odd mix, this bike. The wheel bearings are clearly
new all packed with fresh grease and perfect, yet the fork seals,
sat under the gaters, were fucked. There was only about 100ml of
what can only be described as sloppy, fishy smelling, marmite in
the fork tubes. Which are themselves, thankfully, still in excellent
    condition.

The swing arm bearing has clearly just been done and there is a brand
new air filter... utterly useless with that gaping crack in the intake
    tube.

Still need to spilt the motor at some point to sort out the gearchange
return spring, but that can wait till I've done the cycle parts first.

And indeed, there were no MZ bits to be found.
    Now there's an idea.
    Seems to work ok.

    Oh the joys of SOBs.

  8. Or simply put a hair dryer in the air intake and kick it over every
    couple of minutes.

Oh, and: mine was fussy about choke settings - no more than a third on
    for most cold starts.
