  3. In uk.rec.motorcycles, Bear amazed us all with this pearl of wisdom:
The site's owner might have no idea.

Whinging Courier scribbled on the back of a napkin:
Yeah right. Given that Nominet lists the owner of the domain as a
private individuhal called 'bikerite' and matey is giving 'bike.rite'
as his email address I think we can safely discount that idea...

Don't do that. Go to the site and follow links to the forum. Sign up
and have your say on there. It'll either be left for anyone to read or
the site administrator will have a busy day. I don't think it'll be
checked every day and weekends might see a few hits on the forum so
    get on with it.

    I'm off to play.....

Sign up and go to general chat then look for a topic with the subject
line "should a commercial business distribute spam?"

He'll be a bit pissed off later today. See my reply to Bears original
    post to know why.

His connection is through NTL who have an on line thing here
    http://www.ntlworld.com/netreport

    He posted through Google groups

The domain was registered by Fibranet

The site itself is hosted by theplanet.com

    That help you?

I've just had an email from the owner, who has apparently given one of
his staff "the biggest telling off of his life", & promises it won't
happen again. He /seems/ very apologetic & genuine, but who knows...

    Certainly does, many thanks.

Although Bonners' suggestion has its merits too :)[/QUOTE]

He was far too restrained, IMHO. I would have joined in, but the forum
renders in a 3 line high, non-resizable window on this box, so I just
    couldn't be arsed.

The site owner didn't seem to think I'm a very nice person and
actually accused me of "spamming our forum". No apology either so I
might feel the urge to take the issue up with NTL.

KHF Performance [] is the email address he
contacted me from and the blokes name is Keith Frankham.

    Mobile: 07971 673 899
    Office: +44(0)1543 304017
    Evenings: +44(0)1543 304348

I think I may have stirred his office up a bit. Obviously my next step
is to see if I've still got access to their stinkpot forum.

    I can't even view the forums or login/sign up, it's just in a loop[1],
    it's shite.

Andy Bonwick emerged from their own little world to say
His forum has been taken offline.

Googling his phone no. links him to this profile in another one
    http://streetrace.co.uk/forum/member.php?u=658

    Have fun

That's a bit of a result. I can't be arsed with reporting him to NTL
but if I've buggered up his forum then I'm happy.
I'll save it for another day when I feel like winding him up.
