She'll be fine. Women seem to do better at CBT's than blokes.

Women either get through it just fine or make a complete mess of it.
Either way it's easy, you either don't take them out on the road and
ask them to come back or they give a good account of themselves on the
    road.

Blokes, on the other hand have this huge grey area between good and
bad, it's sometimes very hard work, you just know they can do it but
you spend a lot of time getting them to.

    the reults are in!!!

She's done it and pleased considering she ran a red light (just as it was
going onto red) and braked a bit sharpish at a roundabout almost causing the
instructor to become imbedded in her rear.
Quote was along the lines of "Fuckin' hell Julie"

Well, that's great and everything. But doesn't it show what a farce the
whole thing is? If she's describing the thing accurately, she's fairly
clearly *not* ready to be on the road unaccompanied.

(Says him that sallied forth on his 16th birthday and didn't crash for
    nearly two miles).

Your right of course and she knows it. Hence all day tomorrow Im taking her
out on it, round some industrial estates, through lots of slow roundabouts,
junctions and traffic lights to just purely get her used to it all.

Still, she did better than the young scrote that was also doing it with her,
who was 16, on his own Gilera DNA that he'd had for 2 weeks, had been riding
and ridden it there etc. On more than one occasion the instructor had to
have words about his technique etc, in fact Julie tells me there was one
"off mike" session that lasted about 10 minutes!. Oh, and when they were
refilling for petrol, he lost a glove and at least twice had to be told off
about riding with his helmet strap undone.

I'd have given the **** a certificate after the first incident.
Obviously a Darwin Awards candidate and deserves all he gets. I wouldn't
have wasted my time or his. Seems to me like the fuckwit would have
ridden anyway, so may as well give him a CBT so he can hurry up and
    chuck himself under a bus.

Absolutely, I give him a week tops. Mind you his moped was only 2 weeks old
and as I went to pick up the SO from the centre, we passed him after he'd
broken down, felt guilty, turned back but he was proceeding to push it back
to the centre, I assume to ask the instructor for some assistance.
    Hopefully she torched it! :)

What is it about some of the young scooter scrotes. I see it more and more,
wearing their Saftey Helmet perched on the top of their head (eyes looking
under chin of helmet). Must be one of those Fazzon St8ments like wearing
your jeans round your arse, or walking around with your hood over your
eyes... f*ck I sound old... & I'm not even thirty... yet!

Change the scooters to FS1Es and the baggy jeans to flares and I can't see
any change from the 70's really. They're teenagers and therefore
    indestructible

Isn't that the instructor's fault though? If the vehicle infront brakes
sharply then that's the driver behind's lookout, at least I thought so.

Still, she passed, which is the main thing.

    Oi oi!
One of my uncles drives a bus. Having some young tosser lob himself and two
wheeled conveyance beneath his bus could ruin my uncle's day, it might make
him late getting home for his dinner.

  19. That just about confirms my suspisions about that particular school.
Get 'em in, take their money and send them off with a CBT whether they
    are capable or not.
