SOC wanted

Discussion in 'UK Motorcycles' started by Higgins not @ Work, Jun 13, 2005.

  1. Well, the long-awaited move to Wiltshire starts next week and, as the
advance party, I'm going to need transport when I get there. Wife needs
the car here and the bike is still in storage with no chance of getting
it out, MOT'd, registered and taxed in a reasonable timeframe. Hence
the need for a SOC to get me around for the next couple of months.

Before I start trawling ebay and Autotrader, anyone punting a
half-decent SOC (if that's not a contradiction of terms) that's capable
of a weekly run between Wiltshire and Bedfordshire?

I have just the vehicle! '97 Mondeo Ghia X, T&T, leather seats (fnaar fnaar)
cruise, etc etc. Drives like new (honest) £750. You can use it for a while
and still get your money back!!

Not being cunning. the car has 127,000 on it. If you see the car, you will
    know it's been looked after.
No, I don't have the service history, but if you have a drive of it you'll
see how good it is. Any other cynical **** wanna have a pop?

"In 2004 a cackhead biker unit was sent to prison by an internet court
for a newsgroup posting they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped
from a maximum security firewall to the newsnet underground. Today,
still wanted by the posters to rec.moto, they survive as bikers of
bling. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can
find them, maybe you can hire the A-Team."
