In our house the rule has always been that if Owen needs the car due to lack of bike or very bad weather/road conditions, he could have the car. I can get to work without a car as it's only 2 miles. However, we will now be looking after a baby overnight on a regular basis who needs to be collected and delivered to a daytime childminder by car. So sometimes we both need a car. We are therefore in the market for a SOC. Anyone got anything? Must be: Cheap Tiny (got to fit in front patch) Reliable (ish) Nearish to Reading, Berks Cheap Diesel is good. Hmm, not very near. Well, Owen has been back on the BMW today and he feels he can manage this winter OK. On the other hand, if yours is cheap enough ...
