Not sure if I mentioned it, but I used the R80 to go to work a few weeks back and ended up pushing it rather more than I'd planned. Starting it was a struggle, and after that running was very erratic until it stopped. Investigation was hampered by the tool kit being home in the garage (from fitting the HID light). After lots of swearing and wobbling of the wires I could get at it struggled into life and I was able to get home using the dont-let-the-revs-drop method. Anyway, having sorted out a the far-more-important-than-a-motorcycle window problem on T's Skoda Labia, I've made the most of the sunny weather and stacked down a lose connection on the LT side of the coil, and as if by magic, it now starts first stab at the button and runs beautifully. Funny how the only bit of the bike to fail (in 19-odd years) is the only bit to have been touched by Timo :-)
