  1. Well it looks like the tugs have finally gotten hold of me ship and have
dragged it from the teeth of the reef and it should be tying up and
    unloading very soon.

Now I am able to dip into my meagre financial reserves.

    So:-

Anybody reasonably local got a bike for sale with a couple of months tax
and ticket that is both small enough for me to get me leg over and cheap
enough that I can afford to throw it away later in the spring?

I don't give a shit what it looks like, it can even be a suzuki as long
as it starts and runs and fits the above criteria.

steve auvache was seen penning the following ode to ... whatever:
Well, I *do* have a Suzuki, and it may be for sale. It even runs, but
I'm not sure if it'll be suitable...

Torpedoed when entering harbour? That's a bastard, that is.
Go for it, steve. Pop a couple of downers, chug a bottle of sherry
and have a gander at Sex In The City on the telebox. That should see
you swinging from the banisters in short order.

I'm just trying to help, you miserable old ****. Disenlightening your
dark hours, like - helping you turn the corner, pushing you towards
the edge of the cliff, like ...

Self mutilation, eh? Angle grinder, the only way to ... err .. go.

Eventually, and very very painfully, I would imagine. Suit you, that
    would.

Using the patented Mavis Beacon "Hunt&Peck" Technique, Pip
As it's a good cause he can borrow my chop saw.

Nice square cuts, leave a tidy edge. Should pack neatly in the wheely
    bin an' all.
