SOB for a grand

Discussion in 'UK Motorcycles' started by Freddy Kruger, Apr 12, 2006.

  1. Right, I wonder if any of you nice people can tell me a good way to spend a
grand on a road bike. It will be used for commuting 12 miles a day but
should also be quite fun. I was thinking along the lines of a *slightly*
scruffy NC30 or something along those lines. Suggestions?

My first big bike - a '94 Honda CB500 - cost a grand. I had huge amounts of
fun on that, and it hardly cost me anything in maintenance, beyond the usual
consumables. Sold it for £650 after four years of use.
