A sergeant of the Met walks into my local pub tonight in full uniform. I was
talking to another copper at the time. He was amazed that the guy 'broke the
rules' (i.e. no crime, and entered the pub).

Should I shop the guy for abusing his position, or will I just sentence
myself to life by every other copper in the future?

In fact, I remember a copper using his radio to ask "Did you want full fat
    milk?".

Any worse stories of abuse of position on here?

"Man walks into a pub..." When I was a barman, the local plod would
occasionally show up, and hang around looking at the slow finishers, which
helped to hurry them up. When the riff-raff had gone, we'd all have a few
    more drinks.
Life? You haven't got a life.
Hundreds of thousands of people dying, and you worry about that? Have you
never made a private call on the work phone?
    Mostly abuse of self.

Out of four replies to my tongue in cheek post, two can **** right off.
Those obviously massage themselves with both hands regularly.

I was only asking, because the policeman I was drinking with said "That
Sarge shouldn't be in here" and seemed that it was not allowed in their own
rules of conduct. Of course, how many really live by the book?

Anyway, was only asking as it'd be great to ask him to leave unless on
official business. Still, I've only been on the receiving end of some unjust
behaviour by them, and it doesn't seem that I can't tell them to leave if
they are breaking their own rules (as according to a serving member of the
    met this evening).

Not that I'm that concerned. Just asking.

Actually, **** it, I don't think I'll bother looking at this thread as it's
been replied by cunts fifty percent of the time so far.

Just out of curiosity, what makes you think copper's aren't allowed into a
pub in uniform? It says quite clearly in the Acts that coppers are allowed
into licensed premises at any time whether during hours or not. Instead of
asking about abuse of position, how about you stop slagging people off and
stop trying to make a bunch of hard working people look like twats?
    So who's the ****?

Exactly, and anyway, I personally see **** all wrong with a copper in full
uniform going in a pub and you dont state if it was actually for a drink,
but even if it was, so what? Same as a nurse in uniform having a fag, big
    deal
Ah, yes, I know what you mean, it would be nice once in a while to have that
feeling of power over one of them and catch them on the hop, but really is
    it worth it?
as for your mate, maybe he just didnt like his sarge. did you ask him if
there definitely are some sort of rules regarding such behaviour, he'd be
the best person to ask surely?
You aren't going to last long here mate with that sort of attitude, thats a
very low cuntage percentage for any thread on UKRM!

True. I was a little wankered when I posted it. I also listened to someone
in the pub and repeated it. So, yes, I'm the ****.

However, I've learnt my lesson on ukrm. However, ukrm doesn't maybe
recognise that some cunts (i.e. me) can type when pissed.

Anyway, I've got a grip now, and I've told my local MP about the misuse of
    power.

But the MP shagged me up the arse, so I'll shut up now, especially as I have
an orange stuffed down my throat and am blindfolded.
