  3. For them or you?

Surely it would be in your interests for them to be in traumatic shock
since you could prove they were in fit state to be talking to you.

    Right, I've survived.

Charged the battery overnight, slung it back into the bike this morning.
The bike fires up, runs, ticks over happily enough. It's charging, so no
    worries there.

So, I heaved a 25Kg bag of gravel into the chair and went out for a trundle.

    OMFG.

It shakes the bars constantly, moves across the road with changes in
throttle position, and it's very weird having the chair alongside. Anyway,
I seemed to be getting the hang of it, when I throttled off for an
approaching downhill lefthand curve, and the fucker changed lanes into the
oncoming traffic. It was quite strange, like I was being pushed firmly to
the right. I got back to my side with inches to spare, and chugged back to
the house in a slightly more cautious fashion.

I'll go out for a bit more practice in a little while...

I don't want to put anybody off. Oh no, not at all. My agenda is
    infinitely more sadistic.

Hah. Just back from the second trundle, no uncommanded excursions this
time, and the chair wheel has not - so far as I'm aware - left the ground
    once.

    Fear my l33t hacking 5ki||z...

  12. Top tip - use one of those camping plastic water bags. A big one, full.
If you want to, you can easily pour the water away.
Yup. Accelerate and it moves to the left. Throttle back and it goes to
    the right :))
    Lovely.

Right. That's it. I've been putting it off for ages but I now feel the
absolute need to get my MZ outfit up, running and on the road.

    It's *infectious*.

    Flee! Flee for your lives!

Well, actually, a brisk walking pace is probably going to be enough.
Just make sure you turn a few corners along the way.

I need to get this mucho seized engine out of its boxes and up and running
    http://www.sweller.dynalias.org/images/poorlysupa5.JPG

....and work out how to attach the ex Supa5 chair that's been butchered to
an ETZ to fit a Supa 5 again.

Some form of abuse I feel.

Being as how MZs are two-smokes, can you get them to run in reverse?

So an advance/retard lever would be a practical reverse selector for an
    MZ-powered hack?
