So my brakes are okay...

Well, sort of. Probably. I think I've stopped 'em dragging, but I've
not yet done a test ride, and whatever the case, I'll have to have 'em
off again to lube the rubber boots with grease rather than the `fill 'em
up with silicon lubricating fluid' for the short test I'm going to do
being careful not to let the brakes heat up too much. The test run will
stop off at somewhere that sells brake grease (yet to be found), and
somewhere that'll do me an MOT (found).

But Sod's law has come into play. I've had to fix an electrical fault
that appeared just before I went for a test run: flickering rear light.
And now it's bloody snowing; quite heavily, actually. Thank you baby
