You should have gone for sexual harassment, it would have been funnier.

We could have a discussion of the colours of various kitchen utensils here,
    Mr Comedy Pantaloons.
    Christ, he's stupid.
Indeed. How are the rest of the family coping with the noise?

That's Mr Comedy Triumph half price Pantaloons to you!
    No, he's "special"
Horse is getting used to it, though the BRM on full chat with the volume
set to err... -27dB is still a little beyond his comfort zone.

T told me I could continue to listen only if I turned it down. A lot.

I need to listen again, but one of the Ferrari is definitely doing more
for me, aurally, than the BRM. I'll get back on which it is.

As an aside, I'm getting some clipping on the BRM track; I need to
experiment with the family out tomorrow to discover if it's a recording
issue with the gear being over-driven, or if Mr Michi has used the V16
as an excuse to bugger Mr Kef [1]. If I have taken out a drive unit I
soooo hope that they still make the bloody things as there's no way I
could sneak in a new pair of speakers without T noticing [2].

    Probably.

I'll be muchly pissed off if anything has gone pop as it should all be
well within it's comfort zone. That said, the car drive by listening
volume is well in excess of the sustained music listening volume.

[1] Paging Mr Pip! Did you suffer similar?
[2] I think I may fall foul of the 10-year support policy :-(

Thankfully it appears to be a recording issue, with the proper audio
system bringing out the recording issue in err, greater clarity.

Embarrassingly though, it appears that when I tidied up the wiring a few
years ago I put the L where the R should be and vice versa so the cars
were all going the wrong way.

No, sir, I did not. Mind you, I'm not pushing the amperage you are.
250W-handling speakers and ... err, 400W of Arcamage seem to play
    nicely together.
Now, if you'd bought TDL speakers like wot I did - they have a
    lifetime guarantee. Allegedly.

I've been outwatted! At least on paper ;-)

Hmm. Do you have an, err...., off-site back-up of the CD in question?
Just in case Platy has a fire, like.

If so I'd appreciate you testing the disaster recovery strategy by
lobbing track 5 on and fast forwarding to about 2:20 and checking the
clarify of sound on the left channel.
    Lessons learnt...

Bearing in mind that these watts are finest British watts, old boy,
there's another black box beneath that supplies a further 300W should
    I ever run short.
Elly gave me the book/CD for Christmas. It was the BRM at full chat
that woke Loz, Christmas morning ;-)
<pokes index finger around, removes chunk of wax from lug>

I think the recording system was overloaded at that point. It drops
out momentarily, but not in the way that my amp/speaker clip. Not
    your system's problem.

I normally don't particularly like Christmas[1], but that awakening made
    the day special.

If my family tree doesn't take a sharp turn pretty soon, I might have
to downgrade to one of these.
