I've got some Paoli 35mm forks to put on my SO Cagiva.
Anyone know how to tighten the bolt at the bottom that holds the damper?
Will a rattle-gun work or do I need to take the spring out and insert
a special tool to hold the damper while applying two grunts of torque?

Removing the spring and wedging the damper rod with a screwdriver
handle or similar is the method favoured by this SO Morini bodger
    (Paoilis on 250 , Marzocchis on 359).

    The rattle-gun worked OK.
I don't know how much torque I applied but I guess it was enough.
