  4. Good stuff. Nice to see someone have a dream and then actually
chase it, rather than leaving it a dream...

    Way to work...

25-30 mph at time of incident...

    Diesel in road...

    low then high sided...

    Nosher ejection system now functioning...

    Landed on shoulder...

Outcome of Nosh:- Broken collar bone; (and after visiting the fracture
clinic on Monday, it was discovered that I had also..) fractured ribs.
    All damage to left side.

Outcome of ZZR:- tasty scour marks on all fairing panels on the left
side. Alternator cover worn through and now engine oil in engine
anymore. Scrape on exhaudt silencer (LH side) and broken foot hanger
    (LH also)

Did you have a good holiday? The US was it?

  10. Ouch. Bones heal for free though.
    street fhigther it!
    Oh yes.
Boston and Chicago. Both good, although Chicago has more to do
than Boston. Although americans think that because there are
things more than 100 years old in Boston that that is a lot of
    history.

Oh, and I found proper beer in both places.

    Which was nice.

    'proper' ?? u sure??
    Went to Florida in 2001....

...never found any good beer, so stuck with Bud.

Gave me terrible gas though :(

  12. Absolutely. Seven and Octoberfest; the former in one bar, the latter all
over Boston. And in Harvard, a decent microbrewery pub type thing with
a range. And then another microbrewery pub type thing in Boston as well
    called the BrewHouse.
    ewwww.

Both cities have (or have had) thriving micro-brew pubs, where some of
the stuff is distinctly drinkable, albeit not english style ale.
Found a bar in Miami that served draft Boddy's and Tetley, both
    surprisingly good, if somewhat overchilled.
Well it would, wouldn't it. There's _always_ something better than
    bud.

I tried the tinnies from 7-11 of Boddingtons.....

.....fucking horrible; it was as though they used a rusty nail to get
the colour of the drink, but forgot to remove the 'taste' of the
    colouring agent ;)
Well, I never tried Guiness in FL. I had recently tried it when we
went to Ireland, and it was sooperb! But tried the UK version and
    YUK...
