So I haven't got a NItro shaped head

Sorry Ben, it's another "I went shopping" post, and this one wasn't
    even successful.

    After Lozzo's post about F317s being 80 notes in J&S I thought I'd give
one a try but it just didn't feel right. The helmet seemed perched on
my head even though I'd gone up to a Large and currently have a
medium[1]. Worst of all was the ridge across the back of the neck from
a seam in the lining. I tried the non-flip N800 also and that had the
same seam in the lining. Shame because it was the right price and had
    the features I wanted.

I tried a nonflip Shark which felt much more comfortable and a better
'fit'. But this didn't have a removable lining and was reduced to
100UKP because they were in gash colours that they couldn't shift.

Guess I'd better wait until the piggy bank is a bit fatter and try
    again.

I'm guessing this is some show or another?
Oh they had quite a range there but once I realised the F317 wasn't
suitable it kind of took the wind out my sails as I didn't know what to
    look for next.
Allegedly the Shark is 180 elsewhere but these are in the garish
colours, although actually less gash than the FM sat on my desk
    currently.
I had a Shark once before and it was a nice lid. I'd have another one.

Just to clarify one thing, Nick. Your post is a little ambiguous without
    meaning to sound as such.

All Gericke's helmets offered for sale at the BMF are NOT returns or
seconds. Simple as. They will be stock that the company wants to shift
to make way fr this years colours, and that kind of thing. They will be
    new and previously unused stock.

Clothing as you've stated is either old stock or the returns for some
reason or another, but in the interests of fairness to them I feel
obliged to point out that Hein Gericke DO NOT sell any returned helmets.
In fact you'll find that once a helmet has been sold at HG[1] it cannot
be returned unless there is a manufacturers defect, in which case it is
returned immediately to HG's supplier directly from the shop in
    question.

[1] Virtually all bike shops have this policy on helmets.

If these are the boots you took back to the supplier about 2 1/2 years
ago then they were made by Diadora not Prexport, and yes, they were
    utter shite.

Akito /anything/ IMHO. Its all cheap and badly made, plus the sizes are
rediculously small. For example I had to buy an XXXL jacket, which is
    plain bollocks.

No comment on the seam in the back of the liner then? At first I
thought it was because the lid was too small so I put the Medium back
and tried a Large but that was the same. My current lid, an FM, is a
    medium.

A removable liner was something I specifically wanted.

I wear an F317, can't say I've noticed a seam digging in anywhere, same
applies to the N1200 I also wear. Different helmets for different shaped
    heads I'm afraid.
