thanks to all that repyed to my post last month. i'm not even close to being a mechanic, but i like to learn stuff. I had been losing coolant, and when bike wouldnt turn over, and a funky rotten egg smell filled the garage. I thought ...head gasket. well I took the plugs out and turned engine by hand, and then put a new battery in. turned out the horrible smell was the old battery..it stunk soo bad... I put new plugs in and the bike...that had sat for 4 months..started on the first half-second :). I'm still losing a tiny bit of anti-frezze, but its not goin in the oil, so Im gonna have it looked at....but i get to ride it to the shop instead of haul it. :)
