Not that I needed telling, having done a load of track days with Susie,
including Mallory last Tuesday, but given that she 'won' the blokes v birds
thingy in this month's RiDE mag, how many of you ukrm blokes want to come to
Silverstone on 17th October and try to beat her?

Alternatively, how many of the ladies are going to come along and embarrass
me even more than they did at Mallory.....? Only one I managed to be faster
than was a 16 year old on an RS125..... :((

That said, I'd never done Mallory on a bike before, I couldn't get the hang
of Gerards, esp the join in the tarmac on the fast line, and I *did* end up
a hell of a lot faster at the end of the day than at the start (like nearly
at the redline in 3rd round Gerards by the end, but only 8-9000rpm in 2nd at
the start of the day and the same through Devil's Elbow...)

I thought that very interesting - especially the closing comments by "Andy"
(who came across as a bit of knob) where he went about how he was faster etc
    etc.

The ladies didn't mention him at all - which said far more then it didn't to
    me :)

Aye, she did really well. So did Lucie BTW. Apparantlt, the guy on the
    R1 was a bit of a pratt.

As you know, there are a few girls of the forum, faster than just
about anyone on this group. Including Champ. With Debs doing 1:14s
around Snet and 1:04s at Pembrey on a 400, Maria doing 114mph laps
around the IoM (with a broken collar bone) and of course our Susie.
    There's some competition.

Why do people make such an issue out of gender?

Actually you'd be amazed how much sexual discrimination there is.

It is not discrimination sweetheart, it is protection.

Now you trot along back into the kitchen and get on with cooking dinner
and leave the important matters to the menfolk.

That made me piss! How would having race bikes, which would level the
playing field, suddenly make him faster than Susie & Lucie when he couldn'e
beat their R6 & ZX6 respectively onhis '04 R1 on the road or track?

No probs. I'll bring my own tent and camp over at Dodgers point if space
is getting tight. I'll bring some headphones and a radio to combat the
    snore factor.
