Not just you. I can't recall snow - we've not had any in London today - this early in Autumn / Winter for years. The more likely time for the first snow is January with February being the month that often catches people out when the UK can get loads and loads of snow. I sincerely hope the predictions of a bad winter turn out to be incorrect.

Andy has just ordered to have a ton of cut logs delivered on Saturday. I'm hoping by the time I get home he'll have the fire on full blast and the logs moved into the garage. I can see the temperature difference between here and there being somewhat huge. out of interest, what do peeps pay for logs? -- Adie (replace spam with nickname to reply) UKRM FAQ: http://www.ukrm.net/faq/ Triumph 955iSS / GSF1200 bandit (pending) / CG125 MRO#11 BOTAFOF#7 BOTAFOT#130 DIAABTCOD#17 MIB#24 YTC#16 BOB#15 ex-UKRMMA#22 BOMB#11

It is very windy here in NW London and I keep having to throw the leaves back out of the window that have blown in.
But according to this http://tinyurl.com/43p5y you're about 5 miles North East of the Horseshoe Pass.
That's what I thought - and the Met Office stats seem to agree: http://www.metoffice.com/climate/uk/location/england/snow.html AOL.
