Snow joke ...

    4 inches of the bloody stuff here ... thankfully for the 1st time in
    weeks I took the 4x4 to work cos it needed dropping into the local
    garage for an MOT.

  5. Not just you. I can't recall snow - we've not had any in London today -
    this early in Autumn / Winter for years. The more likely time for the
    first snow is January with February being the month that often catches
    people out when the UK can get loads and loads of snow.

    I sincerely hope the predictions of a bad winter turn out to be
    incorrect.

  8. Andy has just ordered to have a ton of cut logs delivered on Saturday.

    I'm hoping by the time I get home he'll have the fire on full blast
    and the logs moved into the garage. I can see the temperature
    difference between here and there being somewhat huge.

    out of interest, what do peeps pay for logs?
