Other than the world renowned Snottoiler, can anybody else recommend a system that does the same job of slinging copious quantities of oil over the back wheel? I seem to remember that there is an electronic thingy of similar ilk, but can't find it about. TIA. -- Greybeard FLHTCUI UK-07 Mk II Sold Trumpet Trophy 1200 new one coming soon! That's the rascal. Thanks, I couldn't think of it's name. IYHO is it better than a Snottoiler? as I'm looking to put something on my new Trophy. I've always had the Snotty on before. I've never owned a snottoiler. AIUI though the oiler can't have the flow adjusted, whereas with the Lubetronic, you can set the flow according to the conditions. -- Catman MIB#14 SKoGA#6 TEAR#4 BOTAFOF#38 Apostle#21 COSOC#3 Tyger, Tyger Burning Bright (Remove rust to reply) 116 Giulietta 3.0l Sprint 1.7 156 TS 166 V6 2.5 145 2.0 Cloverleaf 156 V6 2.5 S2 Triumph Sprint ST 1050: It's blue, see. www.cuore-sportivo.co.uk

Absolutely ecstatic! And may I just say that it isn't a good idea to use a high pressure air line into the Scottoiler reservoir filler hole to help prime the system.

Run a search on the McCoi unit, but there is another commercial unit which is quite similar in its operation. Neither use 'copious quantities of oil', they rely upon precise metering so there just the right amount of lube on the chain under all conditions.
I'm claiming marginal codiene OD for my liberalisms today. And don't you go smileying me again, y'hear?
Yes it can and being a very simple mechanical device is a lot less likely to fail than your over engineered electrical gubbins.
