Snetterton Track Day

  1. I know. My best at Snetterton is 1:12.5 on a pretty much standard
Mille (115rwbhp). Those BSB boys probably have 180+rwbhp, better
suspension, tyres but even so 1:05's seems rather quick.

Oh right - I've seen it a few times but other than it being a two
stroke I don't know much about it. It seems to crash well, or he
    doesn't crash it well, IYSWIM.

I can still remember Dave Wood scooting past me at the Esses in the
damp on slicks posting 1:10. It was awesome.

Can you do it with one LED, that changes colour across defined rev bands?
    Say, yellow=under, green=peak, red=over.

Or would that serve no real purpose as it doesn't show the actual engine
speed in relation to its position in the rev range? IYSWIM.

You'll be making him a HUD unit for inside his helmet next, for the
ultimate in in-line-of-vision instrumentation. Probably complicates
rider changes in a series like the KRC though and it may not even be
allowed. Fairly readily achievable though I'd have thought, with a
mini bargraph type multi-colour LED block and some clever mounting.
