I finally got round to meeting a few UKRMers IRL in the form of Team
UKRM. As a bonus, the race turned out to be quite exciting near the
    finish too.

It was nice to finally put faces to names, even if I struggle to
remember everyone. I tried to keep out of the way but was made to feel
most welcome by all. Thanks, folks.

    Indeed, good to meet you.

Don't worry about being ""in the way", if you are at any time you'll be
met with a cheery "**** off out of the way!".

And thanks for volunteering to definitely be available for the 24-hour.

Allright! I just needed to check I wasn't booked elsewhere. My diary
    pages are, in fact, empty.

    "Dear Sirs,

I am applying for the position of assistant deputy teaboy and general
gofer (third class) as advertised in the Pit Garage, Snetterton.

    Yours, etc..."

Third class? That's a bit fucking presumptuous. We'll start you at fifth
class, and see how it goes.

    You I remember.

For some reason, I keep remembering the opening paragraphs of the
    HHGTTG.
Oh. Not sure if this is good or bad.
    Ooh, I have a Sledgehammer.
