    Champ says...
I managed to get my Firestorm down to 63 miles to empty once. I was
riding like a complete twat though. I've just worked that out at 17.8
    mpg <proud grin>

Hmmm, I was thinking of toddling over Sunday afternoon but if it is
that far, then sod it. Down pipes will be on by then so I can go and
hoon (for newly qualified wobbly values of hoon obviously) rather than
    bimble.

Any East Midlanders who aren't going to Snetterton fancy a ride out on
    Sunday afternoon?

    how far can you shoot?

there is one bod going from Brum, but he is going via FluffyFest
(Suffolk on Saturday), and on a bike. there will be several of us going
over to Snetterton from my place.

Possibly. Where do you and the ginger one usually hoon? I've met Ginge,
although there's a good chance he won't remember.

To be fair this is Ginge and myself - we bimble <looks over shoulder
at approaching Ginger> yes hoon, that's what we do, hoon.

When I've gone out with Ginge and wavy.davy (who is still away I
think) we bimbled (on CG125) around the stuff at the back of the A6.
When I go out on my own I head over swarkstone bridge

    http://www.derbycity.com/derby2/swarkest.html

and do the South Derbyshire stuff, looping back round Long Eaton way.
I have a long list of roads that are fun in the car that I want to do
    on the bike.
It's the old age catching up with him.

I still don't know where that is.

    <consults Multimap>

Oh, right. I've never ventured out that way.
Interesting. I've lived here for 5 years but always end up doing the same
routes around Asbourne. And it *always* involves the stretch from Duffield
to Wirksworth just because it's the best road around here that I know. I'm
in Sandiacre so not a million miles away by the sounds of it.
    No! He remembers.

Then carry on up into Cromford and go into Scarthins books.

I have, that's my weekend for the kids. Hence my vague idea to have a
    kid friendly fest.
