    Stayed on.
    Qualified 13th.
Had blinding start into 8th or thereabouts, then got
mugged at just about every corner and couldn't string
a good lap together for toffee.
Bloke fell off, race red flagged.
Restarted in 18th as that was where I was when it got
    flagged.
Managed to get my head together and make up aggregate
time on the guy in front and finish 17th.
Hand is swelling again and is very painful, so a bit
    disappointing all round really.

    Fastest lap 1:27.20

Team UKRM had some oil problems in their first session
but got it sorted and went out again. Champ was lapping
in the 1:20s early on but didn't catch up with them
after our race, so dunno how they faired.

Pip has a load of tickets, so if anyone wants to go and
watch, get in touch with any one of the pit monkeys who
will get a free ticket to you.

Not at all, you raced and that really does count. I can't race until the end
    of the season :(

    Well done.

Yes. I'm just pissed off that I couldn't string it together
earlier on and not slip so far down the results. Still, at
    least it's points!
Nah, it'll be fine. Just needs some exercise to build it up
again after the banging it got at Combe.
'snot that bad for a 50bhp bike! Althought Geoff's (winner)
    fastest lap was a 1:21.64!

Yes, you're right. I'm just beating myself up as I expected
better, especially on a track I know well.
    Thanks :-D

My old ZXR750 managed a 1:19 *1 (actually a 1:18.8) but what it lacked in
power it made up in handling and brakes. I miss that bike.....damn, I miss
all bikes at the mo. My surgeon said I can't ride until November but if it's
nice next weekend I may just have a little gentle go.

    *1 Once

It was a blinding start (7th for info) and from what I saw you looked
    pretty smooth.
Here's a clue. The race finished at 18:00, and I'm posting from a place
3 hours away from Snet at 19:30...

    Always a plus.
    Nice one.

Thinking about Snetterton and braking hard, this
    and this
might be related maybe. You're excused from the 500 line write up.
    (;

You've an injury which must be affecting your attention and enjoyment
at the least. So no harm in finding out soon as possible, exactly
what the problem is, and so get it sorted before next race eh?

    And well done.

    Update(s):

One rider has been disqualified, for reasons unknown at
this time, so I've been bumped up to 16th.
Still in 18th in the championship, but making ground
on those in front of me after my zero points result
    at Castle Combe.

Dave Reilly, who high-sided and caused the stoppage,
has a broken collarbone and arm so will be missing from
the parts counter at JHP / Ducati Coventry for a few
weeks. He's home and in good spirits, so GWS fella.
