What are you people on? The point of it is the "being there."

Especially something like the 24 which is a Unique event in British
motorcycle racing history and being there you could be a part of it.

FFS you lot aren't going to get many more opportunities like those, near
enough everything has already been done once already. Grab a World
First while you can, be summat to tell your great grandchildren. You
might as well, watching life unfold courtesy of the internet will leave
you bugger all else by way of achievement to boast about.

  7. It was somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the
drugs began to take hold. I remember "sweller"

Will we be allowed to camp Sunday night? It's important you know...

It's going to be worthwhile though.

  13. Would it not be easier to use a quick blog orientated CMS [1], and then
just add text / html into the 'post' section?

If online time is an issue, type it in notepad, then cut, log on, paste,
    send. done. Log off.

[1] I can support greymatter, or I already have one installed on my
domain that could be a temporary fetch base etc.
    If I'm there, I'll happily bring a wifi/IR/bluetooth laptop and/or PDA.

Likewise me please though I'm happy to help Suze too. Also happy to help
with working out the overall logistics for the weekend.
Thinking it through, camping space could become an issue at this event as
teams pour in. I see that motorhomes can be hired for about a ton per night
    in England.
At the very least we might want a bit of space with an awning and a non stop
gas BBQ production line to keep the 5000 fed!

I should get the Bytel decals today and I'll send them over to you with the
sponsorship cheque. I don't mind chipping in a little more for the 24 though
if it looks like we are going to have extraordinary expenses.

One last point of concern, with the race going on all night it's going to be
more difficult to sneak the car out for a lap, but I'm sure we can figure
    something.

    Oh, yes.

    There's two possible answers here:

    "It wasn't your fault"

    or

"Could be useful if we want something removing"

Depends on what you mean by "easier".
GPRS is paid for in data transfer terms rather than time online, though
in any case your suggestion is probably cheaper. Hell, I don't care...

Cool. It will take quite a bit of organising.
Current thoughts are to take a caravan for the riders to try and
snatch some sleep in their breaks, and put up Elly's 12 bedroom tent
for when crew members are off duty.
I was after an awning recently, but missed out on it. A good big
hospitality area, with tea/coffee/bacon butties available is part of
    the plan.
Just get some more stickers with "Pace Car" on them.
