This is the one they had before the show became well known? The one
popularly known as "Deformed Tommy"? If not then no he doesn't.

**** it, lets give up on Kawasaki nonsense and get a Triumph, maybe a
    couple of Granadas.

Are we going to fit throttle body restrictors to the Kwak then?

    :) I've got a 996 now....

And TBH, I wouldn't like to thrash a 600 round there for hours on end - it
was hard work for 20 minutes!

But yes, i think the arguments of "girls bike" are, on the track at least,
    somewhat incorrect.

A tap and die set might be useful.

Shorts under the leathers mate! YKIMS although I was worried about the
whiteness of my legs dazzling the riders.

Yeah, I should have stuck a pair in my back-pack.

Next time, I'll take the car and be even cooler.

25% more capacity, so it should last 25% longer.... 25 hours...

It'll be a close call then.

I KNOW but I was thinking it would go more slowly, you guys won't crash it,
it won't blow up and TBH I think just finishing the 24 hour will be a
result. I was thinking dem 207GP's might be a plan on the day too.

Well I *was* thinking that just finishing will put us in a decent place!!
Out of interest Champ what's the plan for:
    a) lights
    b) illuminated timing board

Has to be triple Cibie Oscars, one angled for heavy braking )

The 207RR - which has the same compound of rubber as the GP on a
heavier carcass - start to melt at the edges at my relatively slow road
speeds. The Gixer 600 that Sheeley Pike was riding at Snetterton ran
for the whole 6 hours on the same 208GP rear. It looked pretty fucked
and was just starting to delaminate at the end of the race.

Ah sorry that was it, 208GP, whatever it might be handy to use a rear
lasting several hours in the 24hr?

I'm not with you, Hog - our rears already last 3 hours. I think we'll
be hard pushed to find anything that lasts longer on our bie, with out
riders. Shelly Pike was on a 600, and running quite a bit slower.
