I'm sure this is grandmother and eggs situation, but sponsors don't
generally go looking on websites for somebody to sponsor. Maybe scouting
at venues though.

If you're serious about sponsors (and part of me thinks you're not) then
someone needs to go out and get them. I've thought on more than one
occassion as to whether my company might consider it - there's at least
one bike friendly guy within the marcomms dept, and the 'performance'
side of things rings true with our style of marketing. Although I
suspect not and you probably wouldn't want to repaint the bike in the
rather obvious scheme that would suit my lot.

This is one of the tickier areas - I'm sure there's competant people
outhere, Logistics/supply chain is my thing, but right now I couldn't
commit to showing you I could do it, let alone actually doing it.

Think of it this way - Racing give you kicks, but is you 'job' in the
team that is team ukrm. A good team manager would get their kicks from
managing a well oiled machine like team ukrm, that provides the service
required to the racers, and enables the to produce the on track results.

You have my email - tell me what you need (and ultimately can 'provide'
a sponsor) and I'll talk, seriously, to our guys. I make no promises
that they'll even consider it, but you never know, and the one thing we
aren't short of is spondoolics.
