Generous slice of red onion, top with slice of cucumber, finish with
generous squeeze of Primula Cheese & Prawn.
    Lovely!

    Do you mind? I'm eating!

A sandwich of bacon, egg, sausage and melted cheese on granary
    bread....mmmm.... proper food.

I've tried another, red onion, slices of Isle of Bute mature cheddar,
    drizzled HP brown sauce. *Bingo*

Now if you like raw onion you want to grow yourself some of those huge
    prize-winning types.

Almost fucking tasteless they are raw and very sweet when cooked. Not at
all like yer average onion they aren't.

Not only that, but I'm wondering if all these people doing Atkins longterm
will end up with gluten intolerance.

Most of the people that I know who had not eaten bread and other wheatgerm
products for considerable lengths of time all seem to be gluten intolerant
now. A couple I know had gone abroad and not eaten bread whilst they were
there (about 6 months), the same happened to my great uncle.
I'm just wondering if it's some kind of resistance that we build up and
lose when we lay off it for a bit.

I hardly ever eat bread, but I do eat a lot of pasta.

Diet fads are a stupid idea.

He's right though. I was *cough* advised that I was getting a bit
porky. I mean, I'd realised that the trouser waistbands had been
shrinking in the wash and my sweatshirts, too. So I started taking
sweeteners in my coffee instead of the habitual two sugars, and cut
    out margarine on my butties.

A couple of months of semisensible scoffing with no faddy shite,
constipation, feeling ill or hungry, nor shitting myself every time I
looked at a bread bun and I've dropped prolly a couple of stones and
    three inches off my waist.
