It's a nice little place is that.

When are you going to be doing your thang there then?

Who knows? It's one of the villages that preserved the tradition, so
there's a style of Morris called Adderbury. There are dances from
Hinton-in-the-Hedges, Bledington, Fieldtown, lots of other places too.

Learning from other people's mistakes is a pretty advanced learning
    skill IMO.

I do normally honk when in that position, but it wasn't appropriate on
this occasion as I was so close to him when he pulled out.

IME, if you have time to sound your horn, it wasn't really that close in the
    first place.

Unfotunately accident reports seem to trigger my boredom filter so it's
rare I read them through. Even if I do I don't really learn from them.
As I said it's an advanced learning skill and not one I have in many
    areas.

BGN? He'z just ziz guy, you know?
    Anger.

Next time some damn fool pulls out in front of you just kick the shit
    out of them.

And make sure you've got a "broken" number plate and keep your helmet
    on.

Oh, and don't forget sexual equality too, do the same if its a man or
    woman.

I did read yours, but only because I knew it would be good VFM. If I
had the time I'd look for an outfit. Problem is that it's taken me
about three months and counting to complete a 'shim service' on the
K1100LT, time is a little tight.

Still now my voice has finally gone so I've a few days at home to get
    shit done.

Which is why I didn't honk.

  18. Exactly, if you've time to sound the horn and gesticulate then there's
usually time not to have an accident.

  19. Sometimes and I've successfully shocked the odd driver and saved
    myself a few times.
Unfortunately for me, my recent daft women did the drive up to the
junction swiveling head and pull out all in one continuous manoeuvre.
And they've already decided that it's a safe thing to do because after
all there won't be anyone there, so there's a lack of clues.

    Guy Fawkes scribbled:
So you're a stumpy fucker who blames the bike cause they can't ride it.
"pod thing"? I've just stripped the fairing off mine and put it back
together. Once I got the plastic poppers figured out its an absolute
    doddle to do.

    Right, "mechanically incompetent too"
So the black plastic bits on the side of the front fairing aren't
there to stop the rest of the plastics getting scratched? Thats just a
    happy co-incidence? Good.

And you've obviously never removed and weighed the whole of the
fairings. Weigh **** all. Put a liter less petrol in the tank, that'll
    more than compensate.
So in your world there is only one type of "road" bike right? Never
mind 'commuters', 'sports', 'sports tourers', 'semi off road',
    'trials', 'cruisers'...
So this'd be why my VStrom shits all over my Africa Twin in the
handling, speed, acceleration, looks, torque, bhp, braking? An older
bike in the same category as the Strom.

And FWIW the VStrom is actually easier to get to the servicable bits on
    than the AT.
Ah, its all becoming clear now....
If you wanted a similar bike to that why the hell did you buy a tall
modern semi-trial bike then? Did you do absolutely *no* research? Are
you terminally thick? Even just *looking* at a Strom you should have
had some sort of a clue as to its intended purpose. which you still
    haven't worked out, even now.

<hint> There's more to choosing a new bike and just counting the number
    of cylinders.
