I used to like Duran Duran, too.
    And Adam and the Ants.

I remember an incident involving Smash Hits when I was doing my paper round
    in the 80s........

I was walking up the driveway to the house I was delivering Smash Hits to,
browsing through it to laugh at it (I was less forgiving of the musical
taste of others in those days!) and was met by the lass who was stood at the
door eagerly awaiting said magazine. I hadn't noticed her.

As soon as I got to the door I was greeted with a sarcastic and snappy "is
    it any good this week?"

"No. It's a big pile of steaming shit" I replied.

   )

Adam and the Ants played Wycombe Town Hall at around the time Dog eat Dog
    was released.

    There was a riot.

    Happy days
