Sloppy second? Not any more :-)

Well, after 40 days and 40 nights the waters are finally descending so I
thought I'd take the Beemer down the shops this evening and try out the
new gear change linkage that I fitted before the rain started.

Gorgeous. I'm amazed such a small change to a bike could make it feel so
different. Very together.

As I said to Champ earlier it was enough to make me want to pull a few
monster wheelies on the way home. Fortunately I realised just in time
that I had half a dozen free-range eggs in my pannier so a no-holds
barred stunting session was definitely out of the question.

So, to make up for it I'm off for some flamboyant, vigorous sex.

 

You think anyone's going to rise to that?

<sigh> Despite Owen's fervid lusting after electrical components from the
carcase, I continue to fantasise about repairing the beemer rather than
breaking it. Especially when I nearly do my back in heaving the Trophy onto
the centre-stand.

 

Sex with another person is all right I suppose, but it's not as good as
the real thing.
