Probably not. I'm not always that cruel to idiots but yesterday I was
    feeling less tolerant than normal.

I can do tolerant when I want to. This isn't real life though so it
    doesn't count.

  6. I was going to type just that but thought of the audience and decided
    against it.

so I'll talk about the time where i was trying to decide what my next
bike would be. I had an FZ750 and needed something bigger so took
myself off to a bike shop who offered me a test ride on two bikes [1].
I set off on a thunderace. bimbled to a set of traffic lights and
thought ok, I'll see what it can do.

    gave it beans.

its a good job I've got short arms cos I dread to think what would
have happened if when I shot back on the seat and luckily (?) my hands
left the bars and shut the throttle. my reaction "oops" maybe less
    beans next time.

    certainly an eye opener.

[1] the second being the T595 which I got as far as the end of the car
park before I decided it was the bike for me.

Yes, the Ace has quite an aggressive power delivery (I tried Colin's,
as was), and certainly more immediate then the Blackbird.

But nothing compared to the Gixxer Thou or 10R !!

The Thunderace is a highly underrated bike. I loved mine to bits and
after 6 months of 9R ownership I wanted it back. I bought a Gixer Thou
    instead.
    Oh yes :)
