Hit from the right by a car jumping the lights, thrown several metres, and
now in a lot of pain. Still, I'm glad once more that I'm a safety nazi, as
I doubt my knee would be in the same position were it not for the armour.
It's doing its best impression of a balloon currently, along with the rest
of my thigh. I'm surprised how deep the abrasion on my knee went, even with
the armour, I think it was caused when I landed, rather than when I was hit.
I'm now discovering all sorts of bruises that I didn't know I had, thanks to
    the adrenaline wearing off.

Fortunately the guy in the car behind me stopped and gave me his details for
a witness statement, I hope he says that he will testify. All in all,
    bugger.

  4. It was somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the
drugs began to take hold. I remember "Slider"
    Bollocks. Gws.

Driver ok, passenger taken off to hospital with 'pains in the neck and
back'. The car looked worse than my bike, but that'll be crumple zones for
    ya. I was not impressed.

That depends whos paying, but at least 2ks worth of damage. The forks were
hit pretty hard, and although I don't think the frame was bent, it was hard
to tell. Radiator pissed fluid all over the road, and just about everything
looked damaged/snapped/scarred. Fairing broken completely, headlight
smashed, peg snapped in half, dunno about the rest, I'll have a look when I
get the bike delivered home. It's fecked.

Clumsy ****. Keep a better lookout next time.
Look at the bright side: if the R6 is adequately shagged, it's the perfect
opportunity to try something a touch less girly.

Anyway, if you need someone to come round and laugh at you or something,
    give me a bell.

Fair point, the offending car was hiding behind a 4x4 that was blocking it
from my view, and me from their view. 2 lane junction you see (although
that's no excuse). I almost laughed out loud when I heard him tell the
copper, "I was just nudging forwards."

Please take a number and join the "Waiting for Compensation" queue. I'm
