Anyone thinking whether it can resist his/her own heavy breathing
    inside the helmet?

MilSF1 writes "MIT scientists have applied for a patent on a coating
process that reduces or [0]eliminates fogging on glass surfaces (car
windshields, eyeglasses, etc). The new coating was described today at
    the
230th national meeting of the [1]American Chemical Society."

Very interesting. Hope it works, nothing I've tried yet has been truly
successful. I notice the forum you found it on is called "News for Nerds".
Is there something we should know?

    :p

That's the sticky sheet that goes iside the visor? Do they stay clean? What
are they like for cleaning? What's their life? Can you get them off to
    replace them?

Tried em. Didn't like it. Scratches too easily for my liking. I gave up
in about a month and got a Foggy mask instead, then I went double glazed.

    Catman says...
I can't understand how anyone can scratch the inside of a vosor. I never
touch the inside of mine except when I'm cleaning it with the soft
    cloths you get from opticians.

Cat Crap, rocks and it's cheaper. Plus you don't get the light sparkle
    at night.

Any particular breed of feline faeces, or will any old crap do?

I guess it sort of adds a tint to the visor too, which is a bonus.
