SL125 update

  1. Just dropped the spare set of wheels off at Hagon's for new rims, spokes
and beadblasting then polishing of the hubs.

The French model rim I got from Dave Silver was a 17" item, and UK
models had 18" rims. So it's useless to me. Well, I could have still had
it fitted, and it'd have lowered the gearing (which is what I want to do
anyway, some time), but then I'd have had to buy a new rear tyre as the
new one I have waiting is an 18" one, so swings and roundabouts. And
it's easier to play with the gearing via the sprockets.

So I'll Nige it on Ebay. It'll fit Continental SL125s as well as the
CD185 and CD200 Benly, according to Hagon. So someone will have it.

The totally refurbished wheels are going tost me back £300....

  3. At the moment, they're quoting three weeks, but that's because the bloke
who polishes the hubs (outsourced) has been away.
