Looks like CalTrans is getting ready to fix the washboard on 35 just
north of 9 this week...there are paving trucks and an electronic sign
at the intersection, and some orange trucks were heading up 9 from
    Saratoga this morning.

Good news for motorcyclists; this is a treacherous piece of road for
two wheels. It was kinda fun in a car, though...traction galore! :)

Great! I totally *hate* that stretch...I was just on it Sunday and it
never fails to slop me around and get my anxiety level high. Let's see,
they scraped it last November...bout time I'd say....

That's good news. But I never had much trouble with that section - I
just rode the speed limit and relaxed to let the bars move a bit.

Yes, we were on quite a large group ride Saturday using that part of
the road and did not hear of anyone having problems, but I know some
ba.motorcycles folks were not happy with the surface.

Many are unhappy with the road condition, but I have yet to hear of
    anyone crashing on these sections.

Right! It isn't "unsafe", it's "unpleasant" to ride.

    You're a braver/better rider than I
