Yep - GP (or F1) is the full circuit. I only paid £85 for the same thing
    last September, with focussed events.

Although it is a different challenge in its own right. I got over my hatred
of it, I reserve that for another corner there.

potentially. I'm the closest to Silverstone, so it'd make sense for
whoever's going up in the van to kip at my place on the Wednesday
    night.

I need to get the 7R running before I book anything, though.

well, there are lots of bendy bits, but there are also some long-ish
    straights.

sounds like a corner to overtake people on on the RGV, followed almost
immediately by humiliation on the straight.

No, we'll be riding it one at a time.

the plan is doable without the 7R, using my 'blade. I'd be much less
keen on you lobbing the 'blade, mind you.

You've not done a trackday, have you?

If we go in different groups, it'll make doing different sessions on
different bikes trickier - but I don't mind sticking in the novice
    group anyway.

Get the 7R fixed. Get a bikeshop to pick it up and sort it if
    necessary.
    I have.
I'd have thought it would be easier if we're in different groups.

don't worry - I will. I'm just cuntingly busy for the next 4 weeks, but
    I'll sort it out.
oh - sorry - I forget all sorts of shit these days - where've you done?
well...sort of - except on the trackdays I've done, they seem to line
one group up on the "grid" before the group before have finished.
Actually, thinking about it, you're probably right.

The group doesn't go out until well after the previous one has come in, they
have the track inspection and everything to do. You'd have plenty of time to
get the overheating piece of shit back into action with a second rider.

Hmm, possibly. If I have a new bike that is. Oh, and re-arrange the three
fillings I'm meant to have done the evening before. [1]

[1] I haven't bothered with a dentist for 6 years. And these are the first
fillings ever, so I'm not sure what to expect, except pain.

I might be between-sportsbikes, though - or about to sell the Aprilia; or
    just running in something new

IKWYM. I test rode the GSXR750 yesterday. Found it a bit underwhelming to be
honest, which is a shame as on paper, its a perfect bike. I thought it would
have a bit more low down power, but nada except a lot of noise until 10k
rpm, when it flies. Just like a 600 then.

FFS - how long have you been saying that?

Not as long as I've been humming and hahing about selling the 'blade
    mind you.
