oh, that's were you had your little incident.
    "GP", whatever that means.

Hmm, I thought GP meant the full circuit but it's usually more expensive
than that. I cba to check it out. I might be up for it. I'll see if my
    enthusiam outweighs my current apathy.

Blaney'd be coming I think - for his first track day, and he's already
expressed an interest in crashing the ZX7R, so we wouldn't have to feel
any pressure about it being our turn.

You'll be able to speed past my RGV on the straight bits - you know how
life-affirming you find that kinda thing.

That seems to happen on trackdays anyway. I went out in the wet at
Donnington and went round very slowly at the front for 3 laps (on my
spanking new Fireblade) at which point a couple of people behind me flew
past me apparently overcome with the desire to run their bikes straight off
the track, an endavour in which they were immediately successful. The first
    of many that day.

that seems to be the story for racing in the wet, regardless.
Both bikes that I'd be taking are track bikes, and are already at least
    partly pre-disastered.

That's not one of them actually.

I've done 4 in the past (though none at silverstone) so I don't think that's
    an issue.

Well I do worry someone might knock me off and put me in Northampton
    general, yes.

Is the short circuit supermoto-able, or would I just get marmelized by people
    on 600s?

Heh, sounds like fun, keep me posted, Silverstone [1] is just down the road.

[1] My major claim to fame - Silverstone used to be a client when I sold
paint. I personally formulated "Fosters Blue" in a range of finishes, which
I then sold to them for plenty dollars.

I thought it was fantastic when I went there last year - assuming it's the
full circuit you're doing. Very, very fast track. The only downside was the
ludicrously over-tight, first gear hairpin just before the straight.
