Since there was such an enthusiastic response to my last suggestion,
I've been looking at alternative dates to spunk my credit note. And
nothing gets me ready for a French Run like lunching my bike a week
    before departure.

Silverstone GP circuit, £149 quid, on a bank holiday and it's mid April
so there's a good chance the weather might be alright.

Any takers? Lozzo and Nige excepted, because it's still Focused Events.

It'd be rude not to really, wouldn't it.

Now all I need to do is tell the doris that I'm spending on bank holiday
falling off a bike at Silverstone and the one after that falling off a
bike in France. She'll be delighted.

I wouldn't really call the 25th 'mid' April.
Yeah, at least it's not a month known for showers.
Possibly, if I don't head south for the BOFSM.

I'm in. Wanted to do Silverstone last year after watching the GP.
And I've already got that whole week booked of work, so no faffing
    around getting back from Scotland.

Which group did you pick? I'm a pansie and went for beginners, as
I've never ridden Silverstone before so don't want to get beaten up
while I'm finding my way around.

I went for the same group, on the basis that I can't ride for toffee.

Oh, I'm not so sure. At least you didn't get in the way of an old gimmer
    on a 125 at Cadwell.
