The site describes him taking part in a WWII re-enactment. Pretty
dedicated re-enacting the 'burnt patch in Sussex circa 1940' look.

 

Happened to me, Le Mans, 1985. Only man with a camera on the scene when
some Kawasaki works racer copped it. I took the pix.

 

A photographer, journalist or both.

If you have a problem with that, don't buy newspapers and don't watch
TV.

Exactly. I was in Germany when that happened, and the German press was
particularly narked that it was an RAF pilot who stacked it.

(Serves 'em right for coming second in 1945, mind)

 

The same sort that then posts it on YouTube.

 

Just as well that a) it's termtime again and b) Des is thoroughly
killfiled otherwise I suspect you'd get screamed at for that one..
