Silly arse

  1. Me, that is.

I managed to christen my bike earlier this evening by dropping it whilst
practising U turns (the evidence suggests I obviously needed the
practice...). As far as I could tell in the dark, a bent brake lever and
mildly-grazed ego are the only real casualties, given that I was riding
at walking pace at the time and it landed on my leg. Hopefully daylight
won't yield further embarrassment. Dopey sod.

  3. Heheh, thanks. I managed to have a look in daylight earlier and it looks
like I've been blessed with my usual quota of jammy-bastardness once
again -- not a single scratch and even the brake lever turns out not to
be bent after all, it's just slipped around the bar and needs loosening
and moving back to where it should be.

Hopefully I haven't *completely* exhausted my motorcycling luck just yet
as I feel a have a few more ****-ups left in me yet...

    It's a learning curve, innit.
