Only fucking annoying thing is when you cycle the display back to the
trip counter, it still says "Fuel" rather than the trip distance.

Shall we chuck both your bike and mine on a dyno at the TT and see
    what the results look like?

On my new Yam that everybody laughs at, the 'low fuel' light comes on
and the LCD display starts counting the miles since you've hit
'reserve'. Which is all very nice, but as the displays are situated
down on the tank, I imagine it would be possible to ride on blissfully
    unaware.

Me? I always make sure I've plenty of juice in the tank - I've
absolutely no desire to push that fucking thing anywhere.

I've cleaned both of mine today.

the back wheel on the 9R is even green.

I may have been a bit liberal with the FS365 afterwards and covered
    the brake disks.

  10. I saw exactly that on ANU campus one night. Beetle comes around
the corner near St John's, wheel comes off and makes a dash for freedom
towards Ursula College gardens as the car sparks to a halt. Like a good
Samaritan I hunted it down and lugged it back to the mid-70s hippie chick
who was already jacking the car up with a spare wheel beside her. She all
but ignored me. "Here's your wheel." "Oh, thanks, it was clunking so I
threw a toolbox and a spare in the back seat." Me wanders off, managing
to avoid vocalising, "Well, why didn't you just tighten up the wheel-nuts
    then, you dozy ****?"
