Hmm.. I'll have to study the drawings on my 250 to see if the internals
in any way resemble the 600.

'well I walk these streets. a loaded 6 string on my back'
It's good to have you posting again so I'll let you off.
It threatened me in the drive breaking my toe not long after i had it
so I'm a slave to its needs now.
Oh it had a new indicator as well.
I went up to Scotland on it last year, plus bimbling around locally.
Matt and I are considering various plans for this summer. I've decided
I need a tourer before we go down to the South of France though.

Sadly, it isn't taxed or mot'd at the moment, and it's waiting for me to put
the new front brake on, otherwise I would.

Just rang them.... An extra £487 to swap the GSXR400 insurance to the FZR,
taking the total for the year to about £990 TPO. I've only had the GSXR
    policy running about a month.

Last night, I got an online quote of £6,871 from Equity Red Star :-/ but the
rest were coming up around £900 - £1100.

I never dropped the GSXR, or my Dad's Diversion 600... Though I can't decide
if the Diversion would benefit in the looks department from being dropped.

This one has just over 16000 miles on the clock... I've heard they can have
clutch problems, and soft valves or something as well?

What tyres did you find best, as all the tyres I'm used to are for sports
    400's?

Not _too_ bad - but still quite a lot for TPO - but I'm guessing it's worth
    it ;-)
Why am I not surprised - bunch of cnuts.
I'm quite glad to be getting old and sensible now.

My insurance has, on average, halved each year over the last 4 years.

So on reflection, yes I'm glad about everything :)

Partly because I'm 19, and partly because I had a none fault accident about
two years ago, and I couldn't use my no claims while the claim was going
    through, so I've restarted.

That'll be why then. When I was 19 the only thing I was riding were
small 2 stroke singles, so insurance was cheap. My car, however, was a
Rover SD1 Vittesse V8... that cost me about £1100 a year.

    Bloody hell.

It isn't even going to be much faster than the 400 either.
