Only just - Ken's driving it *terrible* ;-)

It started. It went (suprisingly well, actually) and it
stopped too. It has a better rear brake than the 748 to
boot! It looks ok for the money, so I'm happy.

Now to get the 680 kit on it and start fettling...

No, but I'm going to replace the whole seat unit with
    something suitable for racing anyway.

  11. A tenner says he doesn't get it back together again in time for the
    first race.

A tenner says you're right, but I'll take it to
someone who can and get it fixed, so you'll never
    even know...

To pass the ACU rules, or to make it competitive?

I'm prepared to spend as much as it takes to get
the bike running well and the few simple upgrades
that I can do within the series rules.

I'm keeping a note of costs[1], just for a laugh,
    and they're on the webshite.

[1] £1518.97 so far, but if this turns into a two-year
campaign then most of this will be offset across the
two years rather than this one.
