What's the record in terms of number of owners of a single ukrm-er-owned
    bike (excluding temporary storage)?

It'll almost certainly be the infamous Kawasaki GT750 but how many
    owners is anyones guess.

  4. Um. Me. Statto. Sweller. I'm sure there was someone else as well,
    between me and Statto.

I think the K75S slutbike must be in with a shout.

The TS250c's nearly had more owners than it's done miles.

  9. That's right. I sold it to Eddie and Eddie passed it on to Statto.
    Thanks, both.

That one's even more of a whore than the GT, and is still in the hands of
a UKRM'r [1]. I've had it, so's Statto, Donald and you. It went the
    full distance too, twice.

The GT only did it once. Then cried.

That K75 has got a lot of miles on it plus it's been to the Elefant twice.

  13. Point of order: the GT750 did the Bol at Paul Ricard, in my hands, after
the infamous Ducati spark plug incident.

And it had done two south of France return trips before that: once with
me on it, accompanying The Doctor and friends in cars, and once when I
lent it to a mate to go to the Bol on.

There's a missing "the GT" in the above.

Maybe WUN will take it to the Elefant next year?

I need to find some gullible fools willing to go to the Elefant next
year and the bosm is always a good place to start when they've had too
    much to drink.

France is only across the channel, 22 miles away, and those trips were in
    the fucking summer. Poofbike.

Out of curiosity, did Jeffles own that GT750 towards the end?

Not sure who Jeffles is so I'd say no. I got it from Statto and a year
or so later sold it on eBay to a chap form the Midlands/Merseyside.

    It scrubbed up quite well:

that was easy - what about the brakes - still a little sticky?

I was amazed how easy it was to get it up the ramp into the van,
    actually.
