  1. Sold the MZ, sold the scooter and (to my immense surprise) won this with
    a speculative bid.

    Ebay item 180362432908

I've owned one of these and they're great bikes. This one needs some TLC
as the auction says, but appears all there.

go and talk to the Catholics.

I don't think I did, you know. You said if the MZ sold it wasn't going.

Right. It's £550. First in the queue is Nigel. Next is the Jock. Next is
    crn.

    Nigel, over to you.

  16. 75 BHP?

  17. Indeed.

Got it home now, and I'm quite pleased. It's scruffy, and it's running
on direct ignition (no battery), so the wiring loom's probably butchered
here and there, but the engine sounds perfect and it's all there and all
original, except for the missing indicators and the tail light which is
    non-stock.

It seems straight, the numbers tally with the V5, and it's going to be
    *properly* restored.

I think that was an 'indeed, that's bollocks'. Either that or TOG's got
dementia. Single cylinder 250 air-cooled stroker designed to last a
    while - 30bhp more like.
