Umm, no - I've done about 20000 miles on the CB500, and about 4000 on the
ZX6R. The CB500 has better tyres for cold and slippy conditions. The CB500
is more comfy for town use. The CB500s brakes are more than adequate in the
wet, and won't lock up if I squeeze too hard.

All the ZX6R's better at, is going long distances at high speed, track use,
and hooning around on dry days. But it's a _lot_ better at those things.

If (as I plan to do soon) I owned a car and a van, I'd use the car for the
things it was better at (getting from A to B, long distances, daily commute)
and the van for what it was best at (lugging around large quantities of
stuff). No reason I shouldn't have two different bikes to do two different
    types of riding, is there?

Not at all but the idea of the winter hack is two different bikes for
different seasons regardless of the riding, which ain't the same thang.
    and yer sig is broked.

Damn and botheration. Here was I, about to clench a multi-million dollar
contract, and my merry musings are spoilt by a dash-dash, instead of a
dash-dash-space. Better cancel that contract and become a nun, hadn't I.

In fact, **** it - such a terrible crime should not go unpunished. I shall
have myself flogged by twelve naked cheerleaders and a nymphomaniac nurse.
Will that satisfy your lust for revenge?
