The problem with bike paint is it's always some fancy pearl finish that
needs fourty twelve coats etc.

Not the Repsol orange though and I have sufficient paint in stock from a
previous Repsol job I did. It'll only take a a thimbleful. Pearls are a
completely different thing (and getting "differenter" too) requiring a
minimum 6 coats of "colour" and an hour in the spray booth before any
lacquer is applied.
