    Greetings,
My ancient Rossi boots are pretty much expired (padding has
all disintegrated and they were always a little bit too big anyway), so I've
been looking around for a new pair. I've been looking at Sidi
Stradas.....the ones with the 'Tepor' waterproof liner. Anyone got these
and care to comment on how you're finding them? Comfy? Warm? I'm really
noticing how cold my feet get in these buggered Rossis now......I figure
there's too much gap inside them now and it's letting the warm air escape
(or something like that anyway). After a lovely little night ride to
Bundaberg and back last night (~240km round trip, returning at about 22:00
with an air temp of 9.8 degrees), my toes were well and truly starting to go
numb from the cold :-( Interestingly enough, the temp was 9.2 degrees on my
ride to work this morning, but my feet didn't feel as cold for some reason.
Due to the shorter distance perhaps? My work commute is only ~30kms on the
    highway.

As an aside, I'm *so* glad I got te ZZR and not the ZX10......by the time I
got back from Bundy, I was praising the ability to get behind the fairing on
    the ZZR :)

Hmmm... ditto! Mine are over 9 years old, in need of soles, a bit of
stitching here & there, and as you say, too big...
Rossi still make this style of boot, $220 at Redpaths (Garema Place).
    RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR...

I got the Stradas. Very nice :). Quite snug initially, but they've
already started to 'conform' to the shape of my feet, so they're very comfy
now. Way warmer than the Rossis ever were too. They're a bit wierd to walk
in though.....the sole shape is quite different to the Rossis (sort of
'rounded', rather than flat). But, I guess they're designed to be on
footpegs, rather than the ground :)
