Most sportsbike fairings seem to be designed with cutouts in the right
places these days.

 

Yeah, they do, but early 10r didn't which was a bit silly.

 

You might hack the fairings, but if you do it properly and leave the
bungs on when it's sold you don't really notice the extra holes when
they are fitted. I've drilled the fairings on a few ZX9Rs, including my
own and you wouldn't really notice unless you looked very closely.
